DAY 1-2    NORTHERN CHIZARIRA

Early morning start from Victoria Falls to Chizarira National Park. Chizariara is the most remote and least visited park in Zimbabwe. The first two nights are spent on the rugged northern escarpment overlooking the Zambezi Valley. The escarpment is dissected by numerous 400 meter gorges and the campsites are situated in locations described as...

...the most awe inspiring in Africa.

DAY 3-6    SOUTHERN CHIZARIRA

The next four days are spent in the south of the park. The south is very diverse with wide open plains, mopane forest, acacia lined sand rivers and rocky, spring fed gorges.

Chizarira is without a doubt the best walking area in the country. It has a healthy population of elephant, buffalo, antelope and arguably the best leopard population in Zimbabwe. The lion population is rather small but due to the tracking skills of the Matebele tracker sightings are common.

For genuine wilderness experience Chizarira is without equal.
